DevOps Engineer

Location: Budapest, hybrid

Job Overview 

We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to design, architect, and implement innovative technologies and software solutions that enhance our on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure. This role will also focus on improving our software deployment, monitoring, and development processes. 

Essential Functions

Design, architect, and implement new technologies and software to strengthen our on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure. Develop automated systems for deployment, monitoring, and fault tolerance.Help improve software deployment, monitoring, and development processes.Provide tools and best practices to support the entire software development lifecycle.Work closely with the software development team and customers to solve problems and build better processes, and software. Perform maintenance, upgrades, and migrations. Create standardized software development environments. 

Qualifications 

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience. Technical Skills: Docker, Jenkins, Bash, Unix/Linux, Git, Artifact Repositories (e.g. Nexus), Reverse Proxies (e.g. Nginx). Nice to Have: Microsoft Azure / Google Cloud Platform, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, Application Monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus), experience in Go or an equivalent programming language. Professional Attributes: Demonstrates ownership mentality. Exhibits a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement. Follows Cloud-Native Application Development Principles.
