We are seeking a DevOps engineer to guide and enhance the efficiency, automation, and collaboration of our operations team across the organization.

Responsibilities:

Deploying, configuring, and performing ongoing maintenance of technical infrastructure, including all DevOps tools.Monitoring infrastructure performance, backups, and responding to incidents and troubleshooting issues.Providing, maintaining, and managing the appropriate release policy, processes, standards, and procedures.Assisting the development team with the preparation of releases for production. It may include assisting in the automation of performance tests, regarding the infrastructure requirements, and guiding the team concerning system decisions.Ensuring information security standards and requirements are incorporated into all solutions.Contributing to the ongoing support, stability, and performance of application systems in production, including problem analysis, resolution, escalation, and reporting as necessary.Migrating and upgrading the infrastructure components with the minimum side effects.

Requirements:

At least 5 years of working experience.Fluent in Linux, Kernel, and File Systems.Familiar with CI/CD (Jenkins, Gitlab-CI).Good experience in Virtualization and Cloud.Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash.Experience in Configuration Management Tools (Ansible).Ability to configure SQL and NoSQL databases and plans for upgrading or migrating the data infrastructure (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, and InfluxDB).Strong experience with High Availability, Load balancing, and SSL/TLS Concepts (HAProxy).Strong experience with Source Code Management Systems - (Git).Strong experience with Containerization - (Docker).Strong experience with HTTP Protocol and Web Servers - (Nginx and building its modules).Strong experience with Container Orchestration Systems (Kubernetes), at least in one actual project.Familiar with TCP/IP layers, network protocols, routing systems, and firewalls (pfSense, Untangle, and MikroTik).Experience with Directory Services (FreeIPA, OpenLDAP, Microsoft AD) is a plus.Strong experience with Mail Server components and their integrations is a plus.Experience with monitoring and alerting systems (Prometheus) and deep knowledge of the system bottlenecks.
