We are seeking an experienced DevOps Architect / Specialist to design, implement, and optimize scalable DevOps processes, cloud-native infrastructure, CI/CD automation, and security practices. The ideal candidate will drive DevOps transformations across teams, manage automation workflows, and ensure high reliability and security of deployments in hybrid or cloud environments. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in CI/CD tooling, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud platforms, containerization, and DevSecOps practices.
Roles and Responsibilities: CI/CD Automation & Delivery:Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline, etc.
Automate blue-green deployments, canary releases, and rollback strategies for zero-downtime delivery.
Integrate continuous testing using Selenium, JUnit, or equivalent tools.
Manage and optimize artifact repositories (e.g., JFrog Artifactory, Nexus).
DevSecOps & Compliance:Embed security into pipelines using SAST, DAST, and software composition analysis (Checkmarx, SonarQube, BlackDuck).
Enforce governance via Configuration as Code (CaC) and Policy as Code (PaC).
Ensure compliance with OWASP, GDPR, and organizational security standards.
Cloud Automation & Infrastructure as Code:Automate provisioning with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Ansible.
Implement and manage GitOps workflows.
Optimize AWS services like EC2, EKS, Lambda, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy for DevOps efficiency.
Source Control & Versioning:Manage Git repositories (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
Define and enforce branching strategies (GitFlow, Trunk-Based Development).
Implement automated semantic versioning and tagging strategies.
Monitoring & Operational Excellence:Integrate observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk) to monitor CI/CD workflows.
Track and improve key metrics: deployment frequency, lead time, failure rate, MTTR.
Guide and mentor DevOps teams, streamline tool adoption, and reduce process inefficiencies.
Solution Architecture & Design:Define reference architectures for CI/CD, cloud automation, and security integration.
Lead design of complex systems in collaboration with architects and project teams.
Conduct POCs for new technologies and contribute to reusable DevOps components.
Process & Stakeholder Management:Assess DevOps maturity across projects and define roadmaps.
Support estimation efforts, stakeholder engagement, and delivery planning.
Develop SOPs and training material for DevOps onboarding and adoption.
Must-Have Skills:10+ years of experience in DevOps and cloud-native infrastructure.
Proficiency in CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, etc.
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible.
Strong scripting experience in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Groovy.
Hands-on with containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
DevSecOps experience with tools like SonarQube, Checkmarx, Veracode, BlackDuck.
Strong understanding of Git workflows, branching strategies, and versioning.
Deep knowledge of cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Good-to-Have Skills:Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).
Familiarity with progressive delivery strategies (feature flags, A/B testing).
Exposure to serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
Experience with automated monitoring and ing tools like Splunk, ELK, or Prometheus.
Knowledge of quality automation tools (Selenium, JMeter).
Certifications in AWS/Azure/DevOps/Security domains.
