Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Architect with deep expertise in Azure and AWS to lead cloud infrastructure validation, cost optimization, automation, and observability initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in multi-cloud environments, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and monitoring solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud environments are secure, scalable, cost-effective, and aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Review Azure infrastructure designs to ensure parity with AWS environments, including load balancers and replication strategies. Review Azure target state designs to identify and mitigate cost impacts. Ensure Azure cost models are comparable to AWS and flag discrepancies early in the design phase. Validate Azure configurations and ensure alignment with existing AWS setups. Review and support DR plans and testing led by Client team. Align Azure backup policies with existing AWS backup policies Work closely with engineering, operations, and business teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored monitoring solutions. Document architecture, configurations, and operational procedures for knowledge sharing and audit readiness. Design and implement end-to-end monitoring solutions using Datadog and Elastic Stack. Define observability standards and KPIs for infrastructure, applications, and services. Share validation progress, issues, and resolutions with stakeholders. Design scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures using Azure services. Translate business requirements into technical solutions leveraging Azure offerings. Define cloud adoption strategies, migration plans, and modernization roadmaps.

 

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in cloud architecture and migration across AWS and Azure. Strong knowledge of DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC using Terraform. Proficiency in Python scripting and Azure Functions for automation. Experience with DNS, load balancers, and cloud networking. Hands-on experience with Datadog and Elastic Stack for monitoring and observability. Solid understanding of FinOps principles and cloud cost optimization strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

Azure and AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer). Strong communication and coordination skills across cross-functional teams. Experience in DR planning and execution in hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
