Device and Process Integration Engineer

**Summary:**
In this role you are going to work on cutting edge micro-LED display technology for next generation smart glasses and AR/VR displays. The role will be focused on not only designing the efficient RGB micro-LED pixel, but also working on a manufacturable processing flow suited for high volume manufacturing. You will be engaging with semiconductor device scientists, engineers, chemists and process technology specialists to build advanced display solutions.
**Required Skills:**
Device and Process Integration Engineer Responsibilities:
1. Design and Development: Invent, design, and develop integration schemes and device concepts for micro-LEDs at internal facilities suited for display panels productization
2. Project Planning and Management: Build and manage project plans for material being run at internal and external facilities
3. Collaboration and Testing: Work with cross-functional partners to test and characterize uLED devices
4. Data Analysis: Work with large sets of data to assess performance, yield, and reliability, and drive clear outcomes from Design of Experiments (DOE)
5. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Carry out risk assessment and mitigation for key integration modules and device performance trade-offs
6. Internal R&D Partnerships: Engage with internal R&D partners to understand and drive technical outputs
7. Experimental Material Management: Follow and disposition of experimental material targeting fast cycle times
8. Process Optimization: Optimize process modules for flexibility and stability in supporting fast prototyping flows
9. Close engagement with MOCVD epitaxy experts working on device performance continuous improvement and new device concepts for next generation AR display panels
**Minimum Qualifications:**

10. Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related field
11. 5+ years experience in III-V semiconductor Front End of Line device integration
12. 5+ years experience in semiconductor manufacturing processes
13. 2+ years experience in at least one of device integration areas wet processes, lithography, etch, or deposition
14. Experience in semiconductor physics, materials science and epitaxy
15. Experience with project management techniques, DOE, and statistical analysis
16. Proven experience in cross functional collaboration and clear communication in ambiguous environments
**Preferred Qualifications:**

17. PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related field
18. Demonstrated experience in LED or MicroLED design and processing
19. Demonstrated experience in III-V material systems and MOCVD epitaxy
20. Demonstrated experience with problem solving, root cause analysis and troubleshooting complex issues
21. Experience with data analysis tools and software (e.g., Python, R, Tableau, JMP)
22. Experience with process optimization for reliability and continuous yield improvement
