**Description:**
Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, Philanthropy, this position is responsible for identifying and developing donor relationships with the goal of securing gifts exceeding $25,000. The professional in this position will focus on introducing new donors through grateful patient and donor cultivation programs. Using the CRM Database program, the Development Officer will also be responsible for managing an active portfolio of 100 donors, preparation of gift proposals and agreements and the tracking of all donor and prospect encounters. This position works closely with the Senior Development Officer and Chief Development Officer to support strategic initiatives that serve the mission of Philanthropy Services at Saint Agnes. A great deal of this contact involves information sharing, and being an ambassador for Saint Agnes Medical Center Philanthropy Services and the programs and service lines supported by fundraising.
1. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications or related field is required.
2. Three (3) years progressive work experience in foundation/fund development or related field is required.
3. Experience in direct asking for and closing of gifts and building/maintaining long-term relationships with fundraising constituents is required.
4. Experience in facilitating Board meetings and Board member relationship building is required.
5. Knowledge of and the ability to work effectively with Fresno community and business leaders and physicians, computer proficiency, excellent interpersonal skills, and effective oral and written communication skills are required.
6. Flexibility and willingness to work with energy to accomplish given goals are required.
7. Must have the ability to demonstrate Saint Agnes Medical Center’s Core Values; reverence, commitment to those who are poor, justice, stewardship, integrity, and safety.
Pay Range ($44.61 - $66.93)
