Position Summary Information Position Summary The Development Officer assists in developing and implementing the fundraising effort of the Advancement division; identifies, cultivates, and solicits prospects for philanthropic gifts by developing comprehensive giving proposals and other aspects necessary to obtain external funding; consults with current and prospective donors regarding philanthropic gift opportunities; engages the institution’s donors while expanding the major donor pool; works closely with University and division leadership to develop and execute strategy for meeting fundraising goals.
