About the team
Worldpay, LLC seeks Development Manager Senior in Cincinnati, OH to lead a team of Data Engineers to develop technical solutions for near real-time insights and metrics for merchant processing.
What you will be doing
The Development Manager Senior will possess deep understanding of payment business data, including billing, authorizations, chargebacks, and settlement. Additionally, the role will:
Design, develop, and maintain data ingestion pipelines into Snowflake Cloud Data Platform (CDP) on AWS.
Utilize best practices for Snowflake's storage, compute, and performance optimization. Set up secure connectivity between CDP and AWS, including Snowflake Storage Integrations.
Build data processing solutions using AWS services like S3, Lambda, Lake Formations, Glue, and IAM.
Manage AWS Transfer Family Service for secure file transfer and develop secure applications using VPC, NACL, and SG.
Use Terraform for coding and maintaining AWS assets.
Write Python code for ETL pipelines and event-based processing using Airflow, and knowledge of other orchestration tools.
Create encryption/decryption systems for PCI and PII data protection.
Oversee application development and delivery, manage resources, and ensure quality standards.
Forecast resource requirements, maximize utilization, and manage a blend of full-time employees and contractors.
Supervise managers and supervisors, handle hiring, termination, performance evaluations, and salary reviews.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation:
working with data management and ETL technologies;
serving as ETL/data architect and solution developer in Data Warehousing and ETL pipelines with IBM DataStage tools and DB2 and UNIX programs database;
leading data engineering team in selecting appropriate solution and data strategies;
working experience with various data transfer & processing mechanisms including traditional and cloud services;
building jobs and orchestrations in TWS/Control-M/Airflow/Astronomers or similar technologies;
building/maintaining ETL jobs and pipelines using IBM DataStage tool and DB2 databases;
four (4) years of experience must include utilizing Snowflake & AWS data technologies.
