We are seeking a seasoned Technical Project and Development Management Expert with a strong development background to lead complex and high-impact projects across SAP’s product portfolio. In this role, you will manage cross-functional teams, drive technical execution, and ensure delivery of innovative and scalable solutions. Your ability to understand and communicate detailed technical requirements to both engineers and business stakeholders will be critical to your success
**About the Team – SAP HANA Big Data Fabric Services:**
You will join the **SAP HANA Big Data Fabric Services** team — a dynamic group at the forefront of SAP’s next-generation data management strategy. Our mission is to enable seamless data access, movement, and integration across diverse landscapes, empowering intelligent data applications at scale.
We are building a next generation cloud native unified data fabric services that simplifies how customers connect to, govern, and utilize data for SAP applications and 3rd party applications seamlessly.
As part of this innovative team, you will work with top talent across engineering, product management, and partner teams to drive solutions that power SAP’s next-gen Data Cloud, AI/ML and analytics use cases.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Plan and manage project schedules, work plans, and resource allocations.
+ Drive execution and delivery of large-scale, time-critical technical projects.
+ Monitor project milestones, conduct risk assessments, and implement mitigation strategies.
+ Collaborate closely with engineering teams to understand solution architecture, development workflows, and technical dependencies.
+ Translate complex technical requirements into actionable plans for cross-functional execution.
+ Foster collaboration across technical and business teams to ensure alignment and goal achievement.
+ Provide strong leadership and direction throughout the project lifecycle and champion project management best practices and continuous process improvement.
+ Ensure successful delivery of outcomes that meet strategic, financial, and partner goals.
+ Represent SAP externally, managing stakeholder expectations with clarity and professionalism.
**Qualifications & Skills**
+ Extensive experience in technical project or program management.
+ Solid hands-on background or strong familiarity with modern software engineering concepts (e.g., APIs, security, cloud infrastructure, data platforms).
+ Ability to effectively communicate technical specifications, architecture, and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
+ Strong development experience in cloud native and Big Data technologies preferred.
+ Proven success leading complex and innovative development initiatives working with external partners.
+ Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
+ Expertise in formulating clear project plans, milestones, sub-projects, and timelines.
+ Excellent communication skills to influence, lead, and collaborate across diverse teams.
+ Ability to manage escalations and communicate stakeholder expectations effectively.
+ Demonstrated strategic thinking and decision-making capability.

**Compensation Range Transparency** : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $192,500- $420,000 (USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
