Key Responsibility
As a Development Engineer for Thermodynamics, you design steam turbine components in water-steam cycles for power plants as well as new products for the energy transition at Siemens Energy, and you develop the fundamental design principles for these. Your goal is to achieve optimal thermodynamic parameters for maximum efficiency and flexible operation of turbine sets. In doing so, you work within an interdisciplinary network across Siemens Energy’s global locations and collaborate. You accompany the development of new products and technologies from the initial idea to their deployment in power plants.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Enhancing the efficiency of Siemens Energy steam turbine sets by optimizing thermodynamic parameters to meet evolving market demands.Developing technically sophisticated components to production maturity, ensuring compliance with applicable technical standards and norms.Shaping Siemens Energy’s future product portfolio through project work focused on energy transition technologies and transformation. What You Bring
