Developer III - Software Engineering

Role Proficiency:

Independently develops error free code with high quality validation of applications guides other developers and assists Lead 1 – Software Engineering

Outcomes:

     Understand and provide input to the application/feature/component designs; developing the same in accordance with user stories/requirements.      Code debug test document and communicate product/component/features at development stages.      Select appropriate technical options for development such as reusing improving or reconfiguration of existing components.      Optimise efficiency cost and quality by identifying opportunities for automation/process improvements and agile delivery models      Mentor Developer 1 – Software Engineering and Developer 2 – Software Engineering to effectively perform in their roles      Identify the problem patterns and improve the technical design of the application/system      Proactively identify issues/defects/flaws in module/requirement implementation       Assists Lead 1 – Software Engineering on Technical design. Review activities and begin demonstrating Lead 1 capabilities in making technical decisions

Application Developer Responsibilities Mode of Working: Hybrid (2 days a week) Developers will be involved in reviewing current state design and working with the technical lead to define future state design, document, review, develop, test, and implement code features. Our group creates and maintains decision support tools in support of Intel's Supply Chain. Working as a member in an Agile Scrum, developers are involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle. Application Developer Requirements • 7+ Experienced and proficient in: back-end and front-end work • Transact-sql queries (T-SQL) • MS Sql Server Development (stored procedures, functions,etc) • Relational database modeling • Object-Oriented Programming and knowledge of OO Design Patterns • C# • .NET Framework Additional Desirable Skills: • Angular 2+ • .NET Core 2 and .NET Framework 4-year Degree required in CS or EE, or related field is required. Candidate should have a proven track record of delivering quality features within business applications preferably in an Agile/Scrum team environment. In order to be successful, candidates must have a good grasp of T-SQL and C#. Experience in WinForms development and 3rd Party UI libraries such as Infragistics is a plus. Must be hand-on with MVC and Database concept. Strong in object Oriented programming skills with design patterns. Preferably Client Server Application development but will also consider web based related technologies with Microsoft stack. LINQ knowledge will be an added advantage. Additionally, knowledge of supply chain concepts is highly desirable. Supply chain experience a plus.
