Markit EDM Support – ODS Developer
Job Description:We are seeking a skilled and proactive ODS Developer to provide end-to-end technical support for Markit EDM systems. The ideal candidate will ensure high system availability, respond to business queries, and contribute to deployment and operational excellence in a fast-paced financial environment.
Key Responsibilities:Provide end-to-end technical support for production Markit EDM systems.
Monitor system performance, proactively identify issues, and implement timely resolutions.
Handle incident and problem resolution, including root cause analysis and documentation.
Coordinate deployments to UAT and Production environments with minimal disruption.
Collaborate with third-party vendors and internal teams to resolve technical and data-related issues.
Respond to ad-hoc business queries via the Service Desk, ensuring timely and accurate solutions.
Maintain and update support documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.
Promote continuous improvement, automation, and operational excellence.
Must-Have Skills:Strong experience with Markit EDM support and development.
Proficiency in SQL and experience in troubleshooting data-related issues.
Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with incident management, problem resolution, and root cause analysis.
Experience coordinating deployments in UAT and Production environments.
Good-to-Have Skills:Experience in the financial services industry.
Familiarity with data integration tools and methodologies.
Exposure to ITIL practices or other structured support frameworks.
Understanding of monitoring tools and automation frameworks.
Experience working with third-party vendors and managing escalations.
