Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in COBOL, DB2, JCL, and VSAM. This role plays a critical part in project execution and mainframe system optimization, contributing to the success of migration projects and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, DB2, JCL, and VSAM.

Lead and support migration projects, ensuring minimal disruption and high performance.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex mainframe system issues.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.

Mentor junior team members and share best practices to enhance team capabilities.

Document system processes and updates to support knowledge sharing and compliance.

Requirements:

Proven experience working with mainframe technologies including COBOL, DB2, JCL, and VSAM.

Hands-on experience in mainframe migration projects.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Effective communication and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Exposure to Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile development environments.

Ability to adapt to fast-paced project timelines and changing business needs.

Experience in mentoring and guiding team members.

File Systems: VSAM

Development & Deployment: Mainframe application development, troubleshooting, and migration
