Job Title : Salesforce Lead / Architect – Service Cloud & Field Service Lightning (FSL)

Experience Range:

7+ years of total software development experience
Minimum 5 years in the Salesforce ecosystem

About the Role:

In this role, you will serve as a key member of the Customer Platform Team within the IT department, driving strategic capabilities in CRM to support global Service and Field Service operations. You will lead discovery, design, and implementation planning for complex, service-oriented initiatives like preventive maintenance, work order management, and field technician enablement. The ideal candidate is versatile, demonstrates leadership, and is focused on delivering business outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Recommend appropriate architecture and patterns that ensure availability, scalability, reusability, and performance. Develop and enforce standards, guidelines, and frameworks for Salesforce tools and platforms. Provide architectural leadership and direction across multiple Salesforce projects, ensuring platform consistency and scalability. Collaborate with project teams to scope and deliver solutions aligned with business and IT requirements. Drive solution design and participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and adherence to standards. Ensure optimal performance, reliability, and support for the Salesforce platform. Support development and support teams in resolving complex technical issues. Stay updated on industry trends and proactively identify opportunities to enhance Salesforce capabilities. Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Actively participate in organizational planning and innovation with a strong customer and results orientation.

 

Must-Have Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 7+ years of experience in software development; 5+ years in Salesforce. Proven expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud and Field Service Lightning (FSL). Deep knowledge of: Case management, entitlements, service territories Work order management, appointment scheduling Knowledge management and Experience Cloud Strong skills in: Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows Salesforce security and sharing models Experience with: Salesforce APIs (REST, Bulk, Streaming) Event-driven architecture using Platform Events CI/CD pipelines, GIT, and tools like Copado Solid understanding of ERP integration and secure, scalable API architecture. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and scaled agile delivery environments.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Salesforce certifications: Administrator, Service Cloud, FSL, Platform App Builder, Application Architect, System Architect, Integration Architect Experience in defining governance strategies, standards, and frameworks. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated leadership, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management. Strong desire for continuous learning and a curious mindset.
