Role Proficiency: Develop applications in assigned area of responsibility on ERP/CRM systems with minimal guidance from a Lead Developer.

Outcomes:

Work with project team to develop, unit test, and document small and medium complex level programs as needed for projects.

Follow best practices set by project requirements.

Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Code, debug, test, and document; communicate product/component/feature during development stages.

Optimize efficiency, cost, and quality by identifying opportunities for automation/process improvements and agile delivery models.

Learn technology, business domain, and system domain individually and as recommended by the project/account.

Define/review technical requirements based on user stories.

Mentor new team members.

Contribute to ERP/CRM Practice-related activities such as case studies, content assembly, and knowledge sharing sessions.

Identify problem patterns and improve the technical design of the application/system.

Suggest appropriate technical options for development, such as reusing, improving, or reconfiguring existing components.

Set goals in NorthStar, measure progress timely, and update accordingly.

Measures of Outcomes:

Completion of technical/domain certifications.

Adherence to coding standards set by ERP/CRM Practice.

Reduction in recurrence of known defects.

Quick turnaround of production bugs.

Number of post-delivery defects.

Positive feedback from managers or leads.

Number of small requirements solutioned and implemented.

Outputs Expected:

Requirement Analysis: Understand the requirements/user stories.

Estimation: Estimate time, effort, and resource dependencies for assigned work.

Design: Understand the design/LLD and link it to requirements/user stories.

Configuration and Coding: Adhere to coding standards and follow ERP/CRM best practices. Develop code independently.

Testing: Create unit test plan for assigned requirements and conduct unit testing.

Code Review: Participate in code reviews with Tech Lead.

Defect Management: Perform defect RCA and mitigation.

Project Management: Manage module-level activities.

Documentation: Create deployment-related documents and maintain documentation for own work and peer reviews.

Analysis: Conduct analysis as required by the supervisor.

Status Reporting: Report status of tasks assigned.

Knowledge Management: Contribute to project-related documents, libraries, and client universities.

Release Management: Follow release processes.

Domain Relevance: Develop features/components with good understanding of business problem.

Client Interaction: Effectively interact with customers and articulate their inputs.

Mentoring: Mentor junior developers on the team.

Knowledge Examples:

Knowledge of various ERP/CRM cloud platform features and automations.

Thorough knowledge of coding best practices and limitations.

Experience with data loading tools.

Experience in production deployment and resolving deployment errors.

Knowledge of Agile Methods - Scrum and Kanban.
