Developer II - Enterprise Solutions (Salesforce Administrator)

Job Title : Salesforce Administrator

Location : Chennai & Trivandrum

Job Description:

·       Salesforce administrator will be responsible for the daily configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of Salesforce platform.

·       Candidate should Posses strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate and receive knowledge transfer from Salesforce development teams, while effectively interacting with IT and business stakeholders.

·       They need to work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions to enhance productivity and support of organizational growth.

·       Candidate should have strong understanding of Flows, integration, platform events, LWC, Apex

 

Responsibilities:

·       User Management: Manage user accounts, roles, profiles, and permission sets to ensure proper access and security.

·       System Configuration: Customize Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, and flows to meet business requirements.

·       Data Management:  Maintain data quality, integrity, and security through regular audits, deduplication, and imports/exports. Use tools like Data Loader or Salesforce Inspector for bulk data operations.

·       Reports & Dashboards: Develop and manage reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to various business units. Work with stakeholders to define KPIs and reporting needs.

·       Automation & Optimization: Design and implement automated workflows using Flow, Process Builder, and other Salesforce automation tools and Identify opportunities to streamline operations within the Salesforce platform.

·       Integration Support: Assist in integrating Salesforce with other systems (e.g., ERP, marketing automation, customer service tools).

·       User Support & Training: Provide technical support, training sessions, and documentation to help users effectively utilize Salesforce.

·       Analyzing and debugging of the issues : Analyzing the issues and debugging the issues to find the root cause. Fixing the issue which can be immediately done.

·       Triaging of incidents : If the issue is not within Salesforce, triaging to concerned teams.

·       Collaboration with Stakeholders: Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and translate them into system functionality. Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users.

·       System Maintenance: Monitor system performance, manage releases, and perform regular audits to ensure platform stability.

·       Security & Compliance: Manage data security, sharing settings, set appropriate access controls, and maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

·       Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on Salesforce features and best practices and recommend improvements for better system performance and user experience.

 

Key Role Requirement:

·       5–6 years of experience in the IT industry, including 4–5 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce.com configuration, administration and implementation.

·       Strong understanding of CRM processes related to sales, marketing, and customer support.

·       Very good understanding of admin activities and good development knowledge

·       Strong problem-solving skills and good communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders.

·       Ability to manage and maintain accurate data using data management tools such as Data Loader, Salesforce Inspector or Import Wizard.

·       Experience in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and knowledge of Apex/Visualforce with lightning experience along with basic knowledge on debug logs.

·       Experience with production deployments using Change sets, DevOps tools along with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve deployment errors.

·       Proficiency in SQL and Excel are required for data extraction, data manipulation, reporting, and troubleshooting.

·       Ability to understand and support the integration between Salesforce and other business applications (e.g., marketing automation tools, ERP systems, etc.)

·       Basic Knowledge on change management process and ticketing tool.

·       Experience with automation tools such as Flow, Process Builder, Workflow Rules, Approval process, Case assignment and auto response rule.

·       Experience with GitHub, DevOps/CICD tools specific to Salesforce is a strong advantage.

 

Required Certifications:

 

Must have: Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM-201) and Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder.

Good to have: Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator (ADM 301), Platform Developer (PD1 and PD2) and Sales cloud/Service Cloud Certifications.
