Airbus is looking for a Software Engineer to join in Bangalore, India and will be responsible for implementing requirements(Features), Development and Testing of cross-functional applications, Maintain, Fix bugs, Handle run mode activities, Infrastructure setup.

Qualification & Experience : 

Bachelor/ Master Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant field with 3-5 years in IT.

 

Required Skills:

3+ years of experience in Python programming, preferably in a cloud or backend development context.

2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS CDK (Python), Cloud Formation or other IaC tools in AWS environments.

Strong knowledge of core AWS services:

IAM, VPC, EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS/Aurora, CloudWatch, Route53, API Gateway, S3.

Solid understanding of Networking concepts, IAM policies, and Security best practices.

Strong knowledge of Python with commonly used modules such as boto3, requests, os, sys, json, yaml, logging, subprocess, pandas, numpy, sqlalchemy, psycopg2, csv, openpyxl, and pytest.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (CodePipeline, Artifactory, Jenkins).

Proficient in Git, branching strategies, and team-based development workflows.

Experience writing automated scripts, microservices, or tools in Python.

API development using FastAPI.

Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS Fargate.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Cloud Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer – Associate).

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK with Python.

Write modular, reusable Python code for infrastructure, automation scripts, tools, or microservices.

Provision and manage AWS services such as VPC, Lambda, EC2, ECS, RDS/Aurora, S3, CloudWatch, and Secrets Manager.

Integrate infrastructure into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring repeatable and automated deployments.

Work closely with application developers to provide infrastructure that supports backend services.

Implement best practices for cloud security, cost optimization, and performance.

Debug, troubleshoot, and monitor infrastructure and Python-based tooling in development and production.

Maintain clear documentation for infrastructure, configurations, and codebase.

TDD using the Pytest.
