The development center of SAP in Bulgaria is technology-focused and plays a key role in the defining and developing of the SAP Business Technology Platform. What you’ll do

As Junior Developer for Extended Application Services Advanced (XSA) you will start your professional career in an agile Scrum Team and design, implement, test and deliver robust platform functionalities and services in Java.

XSA is an environment for microservices-based polyglot web applications in the cloud and on-premise and an essential contribution to the SAP HANA Platform. Your main tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Supporting our customers in using our products and channeling their feedback back into the development cycle.

· Adhere to the industry’s best practices and the team’s high standards for code quality

· Creating and improving the integration infrastructure using modern CI/CD.

· Actively contribute to the process of continuous improvement: personal, team and product

· Building strong relations with all contributing teams

 

 

What you bring

· Java knowledge and good apprehension of OOP

· Curios and eager to dive in new technologies, concepts and tools

· Flexible team player with good interpersonal skills and some software engineering experience

· Self-organized, having good time management and ability to contribute/drive topics

· High productivity, strong drive for results, keeping deadlines and commitments

· Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

· Good communication skills in English

Ideally you are either familiar with or curious about:

· Python, JavaScript/Node.js

· SQL databases, preferably SAP HANA

· Experience with Linux

· Experience using, operating, and developing on cloud infrastructures
