Job Title: DetailerJob Description

The detailer plays a vital role in converting customer drawings into simple, manufacturable plans using AutoCAD 2D. This position involves both technical drafting and coordination with internal teams and customers to ensure project delivery and problem-solving.

ResponsibilitiesConvert customer drawings to detailed plans using AutoCAD 2D.Create manufacturing plans and ensure delivery to customers.Coordinate with internal teams and customers to resolve any issues.Manage 5-6 projects at various stages of completion.Learn and utilize a proprietary add-in within AutoCAD 2D.
Essential SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD drafting within the construction or building design industry.Understanding of structural loads and connections.Ability to review decking design drawings and connections.Familiarity with the design approval process and client or fabrication plant interactions.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with joists and/or decking design.Experience in leadership or training roles.Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.Flexible mindset with a collaborative approach.Goal-oriented and deadline-driven.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.25 - $23.25/hr.
