Desktop Support Technician
️ Desktop Support Technician – Distribution Center Focus About the Role Are you someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and loves solving tech puzzles on the fly? We’re looking for a hands-on Desktop Support Technician to join our team and be the go-to expert for troubleshooting hardware and software issues inside our bustling distribution center. In this role, you’ll spend about 70% of your time on-site in the distribution center, responding to support tickets and working directly with devices and users. The remaining 30% will be spent providing remote support to users across the organization. If you enjoy rolling up your sleeves and diving into real-time tech challenges, this is the role for you. What You’ll Do + Respond to support tickets submitted via ServiceNow—no phone calls, just clean ticket workflows + Troubleshoot and repair a variety of devices including: + Zebra printers and scanners + Android mobile devices + Laptops, desktops, and other endpoint hardware + Perform hands-on diagnostics and equipment fixes directly on the floor + Support user accounts and access provisioning via Active Directory + Assist with VPN setup, endpoint protection, and collaboration tools (Teams, VoIP, CRM) + Onboard new employees with hardware, access credentials, and peripherals + Maintain and update documentation and knowledgebase articles + Partner with external teams to improve deployment and support processes + Prioritize tasks based on urgency and service level agreements (SLAs) + Contribute ideas for process and technology improvements + Ensure professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information What You Bring Must-Have Skills: + Strong troubleshooting and desktop support experience + Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems + Experience supporting mobile devices (especially Android) + Excellent customer service and communication skills + Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing priorities Nice-to-Haves: + Experience in a distribution center or manufacturing environment + Knowledge of Zebra devices and printers + Exposure to mobile device management (MDM) platforms + Familiarity with Jira Service Management Why You’ll Love It Here + Be part of a high-impact team that keeps operations running smoothly + Work in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same + Gain hands-on experience with a wide range of technologies + Opportunity to grow your IT career from the ground up Ready to jump in and make a difference? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
