Job Description
My top credit union customer is seeking a service-oriented Desktop Support Technician to assist with the deployment and configuration of Windows 11 across approximately 200 laptops. This role involves managing ticket queues, setting up new hire equipment (computers, printers), and providing empathetic, hands-on support to end users. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, customer-focused, and able to work independently in lab environments.

Skills and Requirements
-13 years of experience in desktop or IT support
-Hands-on experience with Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments
-Basic technical knowledge of desktop hardware and software troubleshooting
-Ability to provision and configure laptops, printers, and peripherals for new hires
-Comfortable working in a ticketing queue (ServiceNow experience is a plus, but not required)
-Strong customer service and communication skills
-Ability to work independently and stay focused during lab-based tasks
-Demonstrates empathy and patience when supporting end users
-Service-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
-Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced IT environment -ServiceNow Experience null
