Our client is Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). This is an on-site position and an excellent opportunity for the right individual. The contract is expected to last 4-5 months with a pay rate of $20/hr. The hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, flexible hours accordingly.
About the Position:
This position will provide Customer Service support to RIT employees as they roll out a new encrypting system throughout campus for all of their computer devices. The entire focus of this assignment is to help coordinate the replacement of approximately 100 employee computers and to troubleshoot why some Windows computers aren't communicating with their management tools. This individual should have computer experience, working with Microsoft desktops and some background in IT.
Responsibilities:
Answering direct customer questions (by phone or in person), providing answers from our knowledge baseReplacing/coordinating replacement of devices to encrypting all computers campus-wideCoordinating with employees and clients to make the switchTroubleshooting computers that aren't communicating with management toolsExperience:
