Our client is currently seeking a qualified **Desktop Support Technician** to join their team **onsite** in Ontario, CA. This is a long-term contract position slated to go 1-year with annual extensions. This position is working Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm with occasional overtime and on call responsibilities.
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Provide first / second level contact and problem resolution
+ Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printer and computer hardware
+ Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems associated with network connectivity and workstation hardware and software
+ Resolve issues, repair, and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile printers, handheld devices, and conveyer belts and any other authorized peripheral equipment
+ Provide timely communication on issue status and resolution
**Skills and Qualifications** **:**
+ Minimum of 3+ years of IT experience
+ Broad experience of IT with understanding of networks
+ Experience with Zebra printers is a plus
+ Must be adaptable and flexible in a fast-changing industry and work environment
+ Experience working in a manufacturing facility is highly desired
+ Excellent communication, relationship-building, and internal customer service skills
+ This position requires the ability to work in a project-based environment requiring flexibility and teamwork
+ Certifications are preferred, but not required
**Wage Range:**
The hourly rate for this position is between **$22.50 - $34.10 per hour.** Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
