Responsibilities Provide day-to-day desktop support to local and remote usersSet up new computers, involving everything from procurement to supportCreate end-user documentation and provide computer orientation to new staffConduct troubleshooting, run diagnostic programs, and provide resolution of computer problemsMonitor and take ownership of appropriate customer trouble tickets, analyze, and take corrective actionAdvise staff on appropriate action and walk the customer through the problem-solving processProvide adds, moves, and changes for computers, peripherals, and other devices within the corporate infrastructureDocument resolutions for future referenceMonitor technology trends and make recommendations on incorporating new technology into the company’s existing platformsMonitor the performance of the company’s desktop infrastructure and make suggestions for improving efficiencyEvaluate applications and software patches for desktop applications Qualifications 2+ years of increasing responsibility within a desktop support disciplineHands-on working knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office applications in an enterprise environmentPrevious experience imaging, configuring, deploying, upgrading, and repairing desktop and laptop PCs (preferably Lenovo and Dell)Demonstrated experience configuring and managing Apple and Android mobile devicesExcellent oral and written communication and customer service skills requiredAbility to interact with VIPs to troubleshoot and quickly find a solution to problemsDemonstrated ability to diagnose, repair, and solve hardware and software issues for desktop and laptop computers, mobile devices, and printersExperience administering Office 365, macOS, IP phones, badge security, Audio/Video, and video conferencing equipment a plusDemonstrated experience working in or supporting a laboratory environmentExcellent time management, planning, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skillsSelf-motivated and self-directed, works well with minimum supervisionAbility to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, working independently and as part of a team in a collaborative manner Options Apply for this job onlineApplyShareEmail this job to a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
