**The Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive **Deskside Support Site Focal** to join our client’s onsite IT support team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in face-to-face environments and enjoys solving technical issues directly with end users. Candidate must reside within 30–50 miles of one of the client’s designated cities (list below under important notes).
This role is responsible for providing advanced technical support for desktop hardware and software issues, performing IMAC (Installs, Moves, Adds, Changes) activities, and ensuring timely resolution of incidents in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The ideal candidate will also serve as the primary point of contact for onsite technicians, leading by influence and ensuring smooth onboarding and training.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Act as the focal point for deskside support at the site, coordinating and mentoring technicians.
+ Lead onboarding and training efforts for new team members.
+ Provide hands-on support for Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 environments.
+ Troubleshoot end-user network connectivity issues.
+ Perform IMAC activities and data backup/restoration as required.
+ Resolve incidents within SLA timelines and complete associated administrative tasks.
+ Collaborate with infrastructure teams (e.g., network, server administration) to escalate and resolve complex issues.
+ Maintain awareness of local and regional IT infrastructure and key contacts.

**Who You Are**
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and train team members and new joiners, and support team development.
+ Minimum **5 years of experience** in a large enterprise IT support environment.
+ Experience providing L2 Desktop support for laptops, desktops, peripheral devices.
+ Experience Delivering **hands-on, deskside support** by sitting with employees to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
+ Proven expertise in:
+ **Windows 11** desktop support
+ **Microsoft 365** troubleshooting and administration
+ **End-user network connectivity** diagnostics
+ Experience using **ServiceNow** or similar ITSM tools.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills; must be comfortable working face-to-face with end users.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience working in a **manufacturing environment** is a plus.
