Job Responsibilities:

•\tDesign and package 3D wiring harness models for major OEM

•\tAct as a liaison between the Tier 1 Supplier and the OEM

•\tProvide design expertise on wiring harnesses and connection system designs

•\tInsure sound engineering practices, lessons learned and best practices are executed in designs

•\tProvide robust design direction while proactively supporting customer product development meetings

•\tProvide effective use of design tools in NX

•\tProactively engage with other engineering groups

•\tAbility to work without direct supervision

•\tUnderstanding of OEM timing. Meet timing deadlines

Skills & Qualifications

•\tMUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH NX ELECTRICAL ROUTE

•\tKnowledge of wiring and the NX CAD systems. There will be a need to do some “self-training” when software is updated

•\tWorking knowledge of Team Center

•\tAbility to work with the customers design teams on site (this is a team activity)

•\tProactively engage with other engineering groups

•\tAbility to work without direct supervision

•\tUnderstanding of OEM timing. Meet timing deadlines

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $45.00/hr.
