Job Description Insight Global is looking for an Electrical Designer to join a top Midstream Oil and Gas client in Houston, TX. This person will be joining a team of 5 and handling a project load of 4-5. They will be expected to update and maintain Electrical Hazardous Area Classification Plans, Grounding Plans, Electrical One Line diagrams, Electrical Wiring Diagrams, Loop Diagrams and other drawings that may be required. The person in this role will be owning their projects success, start to finish, ensuring milestones and deliverables are being met. Skills and Requirements 5-10 years of experience in a similar role 5+ years background in Oil and Gas 3+ years of experience on independent design assignments Associate of Applied Science degree in Design and Drafting Technology Instrumentation design for Compressor Stations, Meter Stations, and Mainline Valve Sites. Schematic Ladder Diagrams Wiring Diagrams Loop Diagrams PLC controllers (Exp. Allen Bradley, Schneider, and Emerson) Electrical design for Compressor Stations, Meter Stations, and Mainline Valve Sites.
