Your Role:
At MilliporeSigma, the Designer/Drafter 2 will work with a team of designers dedicated to generating/revising CAD drawings for quotes, prototypes and engineering change requests as well as supporting the Manufacturing floor as issues arise in assembly builds. The Designer/Drafter 2 is also in regular communication with Sales, Manufacturing, and other Engineering departments.

Generate and revise CAD drawings in SolidWorksUpdate bill of material and routing information in ERP systemUtilize additional software platforms including Salesforce.com, EPDM, SAP, Oracle, MS Office, ManGo

Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, etc.) with 1+ year of experience in Computer Aided Drafting

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Materials etc) or other Engineering discipline3+ years of experience with CAD Software OR internship with CAD softwareKnowledge of Salesforce.com, EPDM, SAP, Oracle, MS Office, ManGoStrong CAD skills, specifically in SolidWorks with assemblies, exploded views, and detailed drawingsAbility to solve problems of moderate scope and complexity following established policies and proceduresAbility to work on multiple projects, skilled multi-tasker, meet established deadlines, and follow-up on requests for action or informationAbility to learn new skillsCommitment to customer satisfaction both internally and externallyStrong attention to detailAbility to work semi-independently, with minimal to moderate supervisionStrong sense of responsibility, urgency, enthusiasm, and high energyAbility to work in a team and cross function departments environment
