Designer Drafter

As an in-house Art Director at NI, you will lead the development and execution of creative concepts that bring our brand to life across global campaigns, digital platforms, events, and internal initiatives!  Partnering closely with marketing, product, and creative teams, you’ll translate complex ideas into compelling visual narratives that connect with diverse audiences. You’ll oversee design direction, guide a team of designers and external partners, and ensure all creative work aligns with brand standards while pushing boundaries for innovation and impact. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, hands-on design, and leadership to deliver consistent, world-class creative that elevates NI’s brand and drives business results!

 

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Cross functional collaboration between Creative Operations, Marketing Campaign Managers and Business Group customers about branding, timing and scope 

Team lead responsibilities with direct reports of visual designers 

Plan, establish art direction and design reviews, maintain communication and feedback between internal and external teams and individuals 

Overall responsibility for brand identity and consistency 

Leading design reviews in project management tool (Adobe Workfront), administrational tasks of the tool 

Maintain and overview internal systems, libraries and style-guide 

Working with external agencies 

Art ideation and creative strategy forecasting calls with customers 

Monthly, quarterly visual reporting 

Able to work with a distributed team in different regions and different time zones

  For This Role, You Will Need:

Excellent communication - both verbal and written 

BA or MSC in Design, Marketing or related creative 

Minimum 8 years experience in team lead and art direction 

Proactive attitude, organizational skills 

Aesthetic sense and planning experience
