We seek a highly-skilled Design Technologist for our London Studio who excels at communication, organization, and attention to detail while thriving under pressure. This role will optimize workflows for routine design tasks, enabling our team to focus on complex Premium and Luxury content creation. Reporting to the Studio Manager, with a dotted-line to the Senior Design Technologist who will support their development, the candidate will collaborate with creative leads, freelancers, product managers, and international teams while managing quality control, digital asset maintenance, and coordination with post-production teams.

This is a permanent role that will be based out of our Hoxton studio, five days a week.

Key job responsibilities
The candidate will need a strong background in computer hardware and software and be able to recommend new technologies that ensure our studios stay at the forefront of the industry. They must be proficient in web or desktop application development, focusing on automation, with strong skills in languages such as Java, Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The ideal candidate should be capable of taking a clearly defined concept and turning it into functional code to develop tools, desktop utilities, or web applications. Experience with relevant libraries and frameworks to deliver prototypes, working samples, or reference implementations on schedule is essential. They work effectively with stakeholders (e.g., designers, engineers, product managers) to understand business impacts, and identify opportunities/problems arising from technical decisions. The ability to manage multiple projects and communicate with key stakeholders is essential. A portfolio of design solutions (websites, apps, workflow improvements) is required.
