Job Description
The Design Release Engineer will design, develop, test, and integrate high-pressure gaseous fuel components and systems for Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Hydrogen applications.
ResponsibilitiesLead high-pressure component and system designs.Generate and support design activities such as DFMEA and ADVP&R.Evaluate, select, and qualify supplier products and services.Outline and oversee or perform product verification and validation testing.Support field services and failure root cause analyses.Apply a systematic and logical approach to engineering and design processes.Perform analytic calculations, including load and flow calculations.Interface with customers, vendors, engineers, and manufacturing personnel.Document test procedures, test reports, and other technical documentation.Implement Quality Assurance Procedures (QAP) and departmental work instructions.Essential SkillsProficiency in NX Unigraphics and AutoCAD.Experience with Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA).Knowledge of Quality Assurance Procedures (QAP).Understanding of material compatibility issues with hydrogen and natural gas.Strong analytical and documentation skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.3-5+ years of experience within a manufacturing setting.Experience with high-pressure hydrogen and CNG system design and component selection.Experience in high-pressure gaseous fuel storage.Work Environment
This position is 100% onsite with working hours from 8 am to 5 pm. The facility accommodates 120 people, including 10 engineers with 3 other Design Release Engineers.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
