This is a 20-year arrangement to deliver ~£7bn of major projects. We are looking to recruit high value expertise from across regulated and comparable sectors to work in a collaborative environment. PPP is delivering major projects, site wide improvements and provision of supporting services.  **The Project** Box Encapsulation Plant Product Store (BEPPS2) is a PPP Major Project to design and construct a new mechanical handling waste storage facility that will safely store waste packages for many years to come. The project status is currently at detailed design **The Role** BEPPS2 are now looking to recruit a **Design Quality Manager** to support the Engineering team, to ensure the engineers are compliant with processes and procedures set out by PPP and Sellafield Limited during the design process. The Design Quality Manager operates within the overarching arrangements as defined by the Project Engineering Manager, under the supervision of the Senior Quality Manager. For BEPPS2, this opportunity is to be the **Design Quality Manager** for the Detailed Design Phase of the project, ensuring: + Informing the Engineering team of procedural/legislative changes influencing the design. + Collaborating with external design vendors and suppliers to ensure they meet quality standards set out in the technical specifications/ scope of work documents. + Reviewing existing procedures/standards to ensure project compliance As a **Design Quality Manager** your responsibilities could include: + Monitoring performance against the Design Quality Plans. + Production of Life Time Records requirements & Certification Form, and support to Technical File compilation for UKCA/ CE Marking. + Production of Master Inspection & Test Plan with support from Engineering team; cognisant of nuclear requirements and Design for Manufacture & Assembly. + Support to the Engineering team & Package Managers with compilation of technical specifications/ scope of work documents and contract reviews. + Confirming Engineering team design outputs are verified and validated against inputs. + Reporting on design quality progress and opportunities for improvement. + Initiating/ assisting with root cause analysis of non-conformities/ design related issues. **Our Culture:** Our values stand on a foundation of safety, integrity, inclusion and diversity.
