Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and detail-oriented Design Manager - Fit Out to join our dynamic team in Doha, Qatar. As the Design Manager, you will lead and oversee interior design and fit-out projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet client expectations and adhere to local regulations.

Manage and coordinate all aspects of fit-out design projects from concept to completionLead and mentor a team of designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environmentDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocationsCollaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project successReview and approve design concepts, drawings, and specificationsEnsure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and sustainability standardsPresent design concepts and project updates to clients and stakeholdersImplement quality control measures throughout the design processStay updated on industry trends and innovative design solutions

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related fieldMinimum 12 years of experience in interior design or fit-out projects, with a proven track record of successful project deliveryProficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design softwareStrong project management skills, with PMP certification preferredExcellent leadership abilities with experience managing design teamsAdvanced knowledge of local building codes and regulations in QatarUnderstanding of sustainable design practices and their application in fit-out projectsProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteOutstanding communication and presentation skillsDemonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources effectivelyExperience with both commercial and residential fit-out projectsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
