Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Design Director to join our team. Parsons is providing Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services for the development of Mega projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Design Director must have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a strong understanding of design principles and processes. Stadium experience or experience in large-scale public venues is preferred due to the specialized nature of such projects.
What You'll Be Doing:
Develop and implement design strategies and processes to ensure successful completion of projectsLead and manage a team of design professionals to ensure successful completion of projectsOversee the design process from concept to completionDevelop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholdersMonitor project progress and ensure deadlines are metEnsure design standards are met and maintainedManage budgets and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budgetAnalyze and evaluate design trends and technologies to ensure projects are up to dateDevelop and implement design policies and proceduresProvide guidance and mentorship to design team membersEnsure compliance with applicable laws and regulationsManage third party design consultantsSupervise and participate in advanced complex professional planning activities.Assigns work to professional staff and ensures appropriate training is provided.Monitor and ensure compliance with local and international standards.Advise the Planning Director on all planning-related matters.Develop technical inputs to support the delivery of high-quality plans, reports, and presentations.Implement required measures during the project management process and lead the team by resolving any problems, technical issues or deviations from plans to ensure that project progress is maintained as per plan.Maintain contact and coordination with the multiple external agencies involved in the translation of the Government’s development mandate and master plan objectives into work plans through maintaining meaningful working relationships to facilitate a shared understandingQualifications and Experience:
