Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Lead - Electrical to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will lead and oversee the electrical design aspects of complex projects, ensuring innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs while adhering to industry standards and regulations.

Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovationDevelop and review electrical design concepts, schematics, and drawings for large-scale projectsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with other engineering disciplinesEnsure compliance with local and international electrical codes and standardsManage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectivelyConduct technical risk assessments and develop mitigation strategiesLiaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver optimal solutionsStay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement in electrical design practices

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Master's degree preferredProfessional Engineering (PE) licenseMinimum 15 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership roleProven expertise in electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical and EPLANStrong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulationsDemonstrated experience in circuit design, analysis, and power systems designProficiency in project management tools and methodologiesExtensive experience with large-scale electrical projects, particularly in industrial settingsIn-depth knowledge of power distribution systems, control systems, and industrial electrical systemsExcellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively in a multicultural environmentWillingness to travel within Saudi Arabia as required
