Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and innovative Design Lead - Architect to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our architectural studio, you will spearhead the design and execution of medium to large-scale projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver exceptional architectural solutions that push the boundaries of creativity and functionality.

Lead conceptual design, schematic design, and design development phases for diverse projects, including mixed-use, residential, commercial, and public buildingsManage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of architectural designsCollaborate with clients, stakeholders, and government agencies to understand project requirements and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulationsMentor and guide junior architects and design teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environmentDevelop and present compelling design proposals and presentations to clients and stakeholdersOversee the production of high-quality technical drawings, specifications, and other project documentationImplement sustainable design practices and cutting-edge technologies to create environmentally responsible and efficient buildingsConduct regular site visits to ensure design integrity throughout the construction processStay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in architectural designEnsure compliance with local building codes and regulations in Saudi ArabiaContribute to the firm's design philosophy and help establish its reputation as a leader in innovative architecture

QualificationsBachelor's degree or higher in Architecture from an accredited institutionProfessional architecture license or certificationMinimum of 15 years of experience in architectural design, with a focus on medium to large-scale projectsProven track record of successfully managing complex architectural projects from concept to completionProficiency in architectural design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUpExperience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and its application in architectural designStrong portfolio showcasing innovative and visionary architectural designsIn-depth knowledge of sustainable design practices and LEED certificationFamiliarity with local building codes, regulations, architectural styles, and cultural considerations in Saudi ArabiaExcellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor junior architectsOutstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts effectivelyAnalytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentExceptional organizational skills and capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyVisionary approach to architectural design with a keen eye for aesthetics and functionalityWillingness to stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in architecture
