Summary: Seeking a Design Engineering Manager with expertise in engineering management, product development, and regulatory compliance in the metal manufacturing industry.
Degree required in Engineering
Minimum 5 years of management/supervisory experience
Project management expertise
Experience in product development, design, manufacturing or related fields
R&D experience
Leadership/mentoring skills
Problem-solving and root cause analysis abilities
2+ years experience in a metal manufacturing environment
No employment gaps; minimum 2 years at each previous position
Knowledge of regulatory compliance (DOT, ASME, ISO)
Ability to manage multiple concurrent engineering projects
Experience with ERP systems and CAD software (AutoDesk/Inventor)
High degree of welding experience with sheet metal and large assemblies; minimum 5 years required
CWI preferred
Knowledge of ASME pressure vessels and non-code vessels
Responsibilities:
Direct and manage engineering projects ensuring compliance with industry standards
Develop and manage product design development schedules within budget constraints
Pay Details: $50.00 to $62.00 per hour
