This is a practical learning experience for the engineering Co-op student where they will see the problems and issues that require engineering knowledge in a highly technical business. The Design Engineers will involve the co-op student in their daily duties and give them assignments such as performing engineering calculations (statics, mechanics of materials, thermal expansion, CAD work, etc.), and help with product documentation (engineering drawings, product structure).
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Assist Engineering teams with technical support for existing product line
Assist with the evaluation of the new product designs, modifications to existing product, and design of valve constructions for critical service applications
Troubleshoot valve performance issues while completing engineering analyses in order to provide a solution to the root cause
Provide engineering support to the Global Sales Offices by assisting with technical quotation details for new valve offerings
Assist with the daily execution of products orders involving design modifications, application reviews, and customer interaction

Required Major(s): Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or Nuclear Engineering
Minimum GPA: 2.8
Status: Sophomore, Junior or Senior standing
Basic understanding of embedded systems
