Job Summary
We are looking for a Design Engineer who will be responsible for the development of new product for Pressure Management. The role will coordinate with teams from Initial Design to product launch . If you possess the requirements we are seeking for, this exciting role is for you!
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
●Participates in NPD projects from Initial Design to Product Launch. Works in a team environment to complete project deliverables on schedule.
●Creates innovative designs that satisfy customer needs and provide unique benefits while viable to the company. Designs new components and products in accordance with sound engineering principles, customer specifications, and industry requirements.
●Develops the Engineering database as required to accomplish the above activities. Creates drawings, procedures and bills of materials for new products.
●Builds prototypes and conducts product performance tests for evaluation and compliance to specifications and standards.
●Works closely with Sales/Marketing/Product Management in evaluating new product ideas and developing technical specifications.
●Works with supplier management and quality assurance groups to enhance manufacturability. Assist in qualifying new vendors as required for new product development. Assists suppliers in understanding product requirements.
●May perform other special projects or duties as required.

For This Role, You Will Need:
●Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
●At least 3 years working experience in the field of mechanical design.
●Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, machining methodologies, and practices.
●Able to communicate in spoken and written English.
●Familiar with design rules, codes and industry standards for valves, pressure vessels and mechanical components.
●Proficient in Microsoft Office suites and 3D modeling design package.
●Knowledge of nonlinear Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using ANSYS or equivalent is preferred.
●Knowledge of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
●Flow control industries background is preferred.
●Familiar with design rules, codes and industry standards for valves, pressure vessels and mechanical
components will be added advantage.
●Presentation skill is preferred.
