Job Description

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Design Engineer - Architectural to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing architectural designs for various projects, ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations while delivering innovative and sustainable solutions.

Create and modify architectural drawings and specifications using CAD softwareCollaborate with project teams to develop design concepts and solutionsPerform structural calculations and analysis to ensure design integrityCoordinate with other engineering disciplines to integrate architectural designsConduct site visits to assess project requirements and monitor construction progressEnsure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standardsDevelop and maintain project documentation, including technical reports and presentationsParticipate in client meetings to present design concepts and address concernsStay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and sustainable design practicesMentor junior team members and contribute to the overall growth of the department

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field10 years of experience in architectural design engineeringProficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD and RevitStrong 3D modeling and visualization skillsIn-depth knowledge of building codes and regulations, particularly in Saudi ArabiaExcellent problem-solving and analytical abilitiesStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenExperience with sustainable design principles and practicesAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentProfessional licensure (e.g., PE) preferredFamiliarity with local building codes and regulations in Saudi ArabiaWillingness to travel to project sites as needed
