Design Engineer
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Work closely with the upfront marketing engineer to define new product needs
• Develop innovative design concepts employing the latest design and manufacturing technology as applicable
• Perform and document engineering design calculations and analysis using computer-aided tools
• Generate product technical specifications, technical assessment plans, and test plans
• Build design documentation, specifications, and procedures; check and approve design drawings
• Collaborate with the CAD team to build detailed 2D/3D drawings
• Collaborate with suppliers to produce engineering prototypes
• Work with manufacturing to place new product designs into production
• Follow through with verification and implementation of design concepts into production
• Collaborate with global product engineers to support product launch and lifecycle development
• Investigate and apply relevant industry standards to new product development
• Support the long-term vision and management of the business unit’s product portfolio
• Assist with other project activities as assigned


  Who You Are:

As a Design Engineer we will apply your technical and soft skills in the development of new products. You will be a member of a multi-functional product development team with Design Engineers, CAD Designers, and Test Engineers, as well as representatives from Marketing, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Sales.


  For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or related experience
• Proven creative ability with solid analytical skills
• Effective communication and outstanding interpersonal abilities
• Familiarity with MS Office software, computer-aided design, and simulation programs
• Basic English language skills


  Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Major in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Engineering
• Design experience in valves, process control industry, or similar fields
• Good presentation skills
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
