Join our team and start your journey today! **Job Purpose:** This position will be responsible for developing new refrigeration products. Design and qualify layout and components deliver optimized design with best cost, robust reliability, and easy manufacturing to meet customer’s requirements. **Key Responsibilities & Description of duties & activities** 1.Mechancial Structure Design 40% + Design new structures to meet program scope requirements + Technical study on potential product value added and best cost design + Design layout and tooling to meet design for service and design for manufacturing 2.Components Qualification 30% + Identify and mitigate risk with new design by Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) process + Work with procurement engineer and SQE to approach component fabrication. + Work with manufacturing engineers on Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFEMA) risk identification and mitigation 3.NPD Project Development 30% + Develop new products based on New Product Development process + Ensure the project checklist (PEP-C) and any additional project guidelines have been followed + Participate in team activities and interface with other functional areas, such as Plant Engineering/Manufacturing, Supplier Quality and Procurement, as appropriate + Problem Solving and Decision Making during new product development process + Document Technical & Project Learning and store it in the appropriate folder for review if needed + Publish product in product database including Bill of Material, engineering spec, etc. **Education and Professional Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mechanics or Compressor Design and other related areas + 0-3 years working experience on mechanical engineering design, including basic static/dynamic analysis, calculation on material strength, and components design optimization, etc. + Solid technical knowledge and skills on mechanical design + Be familiar with engineering document management (BOM, ECN, etc.) + Be familiar with GD&T knowledge + Basic knowledge of refrigeration + Good written and oral English communication skills **Requirements and Attributes:** + Good team work and like to take the initiative **Our Commitment to Our People** Across the globe, we are united by a singular Purpose: Sustainability is no small ambition.
