Job Title: Design Automation Engineer II - ExemptJob Description We are seeking a Design Automation Engineer II to play a pivotal role in designing, prototyping, and testing assembly and automation equipment. You will utilize SolidWorks or PTC Creo to create innovative solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance our manufacturing capabilities. This position offers the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and solve complex design challenges. Responsibilities + Design, prototype, and test assembly and automation equipment using SolidWorks or PTC Creo. + Conduct design reviews and define technical requirements. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to launch new manufacturing capabilities. + Mentor junior engineers in design and process engineering. + Enhance equipment performance and solve complex design challenges. + Support qualification and manufacturing launch activities for new equipment. Essential Skills + Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. + 5+ years experience in machine design and testing. + Experience in regulated industry. + Proficiency in SolidWorks. + Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. + Expertise in manufacturing equipment design. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with GD&T software. + Ability to design assembly and test equipment using SolidWorks.
