Job Requirements

Key responsibilities:

Develop and implement automated design solutions using SolidWorks API and DriveWorks.Create and manage parametric 3D models and assemblies in SolidWorks.Automate the generation of drawings, BOMs, and design documentation.Write custom macros and programs using C# and VBAMaintain and enhance existing automation tools and systems.Troubleshoot and resolve issues in design automation workflows.Ensure compliance with engineering standards and documentation practices.

Work Experience

Required Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.3+ years of experience with SolidWorks and parametric design.Proficiency in SolidWorks API programming.Hands-on experience with C# and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).Strong working knowledge of DriveWorks for design automation.Ability to create and manage complex design rules and logic.Familiarity with engineering change processes and product lifecycle management (PLM).Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Knowledge of PDM systems and ERP integration
