The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking a SeniorDesign and Analysis Engineer (Communication / Network Systems Design) located in El Segundo, CA

Position Responsibilities:

Leads work with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirementsLeads and coordinates work to analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specificationsLeads work to test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirementsOversees the team that monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirementsSolves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycleResearches technology advances for potential application to company business needsMakes recommendations for technology investments

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at El Segundo, CA.

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret (SCI) Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer scienceLevel 4: 9+ years of work-related experience with a bachelor’s degree OR 7+ years of work-related experience with a master’s degreeCommunications and network concepts and principlesKnowledge of and the ability to utilize communications and network testsSystems installation and performance experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

Knowledge of communications and network concepts Advanced experience in design concepts and techniques engineering, Design for Manufacture/Assembly Experience various engineering disciplines such as electrical, mechanical and systems

Typical Education & Experience:

Level 4: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range:

Level 4: $128,350 - $173,650
