The individual will complete basic procedures and light treatments as requested by the provider and will assist providers with procedures. The Dermatology Technician II performs in a manner consistent with Marshfield Clinic Health Systems’ mission, policies, and initiatives while maintaining patient confidentiality. **JOB QUALIFICATIONS** **EDUCATION** _For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation._ **Minimum Required:** One of the following: + Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program + Documented successful completion of the following Courses **or** their recognized equivalent + Medical Terminology from an accredited institution or completed on line through Universal Class + Anatomy & Physiology or Body Structure & Function or Human Body in Health Disease from an accredited institution or completed on line through Universal Class + Pharmacology from an accredited institution **Preferred/Optional:** Experience in healthcare. **EXPERIENCE** **Minimum Required:** One year experience as a Dermatology Technician. Working knowledge of medical terminology. Successful completion of the Marshfield Clinic Health Systems’ dermatology advancement test. **Preferred/Optional:** None **CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES** _The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position.
