Dermatology Regional Business Director - North
**Job Description** **The Position** Build a best-in-class Regional Sales Organization to support the launch of an innovative dermatology product. This position will direct the sales strategy and planning for field-based team by driving agreed upon short term sales targets and long-term goals and objectives. The patient is at the heart of everything we do. **Responsibilities** + Sourcing, recruiting, onboarding and training District Business Managers and Area Business Managers. + Ensuring talent recruited represents a truly diverse team of professionals to enhance our competitiveness and innovation. + Building a team that can succeed within the hybrid environment of meeting customer needs and business needs. + Working with sales leadership and their matrix counterparts to continue to drive the evolution of our sales force capabilities to meet the changing external environment and ensure success of the current brands and future launches. + Develop and implement region business plan in line with brand strategy to support both businesses and therapeutic areas. + Meet or exceed sales goals, maximize promotional budgets, and execute the national sales strategy in accordance with our company's polices. + Innovate and identify new ways to build brand equity to exceed our short and long-term goals, ensuring all legal and compliance regulations are adhered to. + Serve as a role model for Compliance and hold region accountable for Compliance by ensuring all practices within region are compliant with the our company's Compliance Code of Conduct, PhRMA Code, OIG Guidelines, PDMA Policies and Procedures and all other applicable laws, regulations, policies & procedures. To include liaising with medical, R&D, Value Access and Pricing, Patient Services, training and our brand team to appropriately deliver for our internal and external stakeholders. + Identify opportunities in the marketplace, share best practices, and proactively communicate strategies to cross-functional partners and members of US Leadership Team. Manage implementation of all promotional activities to support sales and marketing strategies, in accordance with our dermatology promotional policies. + Build and ensure advocacy and support for and our brand(s) with Key Opinion Leaders in and Dermatology. + Drive succession planning, diversity and talent retention efforts. Take a leadership role in creating a respectful & inclusive work environment while role modeling our company's values, fostering geographical and cultural diversity and an inclusive work environment. **Required Education, Experience and Skills** + Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. + Minimum ten years of broad based, cross-functional experience in pharmaceutical sales + Working knowledge of geographic condition/customer base (three-year recency of Dermatology experience preferred). + Previous second-line sales leadership experience. + Launch experience in competitive markets. + Understanding of environmental and industry trends, and impact on business. + Proven top performance in field sales and field sales management. + Experience building and leading teams of diverse backgrounds. + Participation in the development and implementation of strategy on a geographic or product basis. + Highly motivated self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to personal and career development. + Desire to work in a quickly changing and fast-paced growing business. + Unrelenting dedication to delivering results and a desire to shape the strategic goals of the business. Willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done. + Ability to overcome ambiguity and challenge the status quo. + Manage multiple programs with competing and aggressive timelines, prioritize activities, and work independently. + Excellent written and oral communication skills; experienced presenter of key messages to broad audiences including Senior Stakeholders. This territory covers Michigan, Illinois, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and New England.
