Siemens Mobility is looking for a Train Maintenance Deputy Supervisor to join their Rolling Stock team in Hornsey!

You’ll make an impact by:

Personally resolving staff issues and escalating only if resolution is beyond your authority.Ensuring continuous development of the team to build a high-performanceImplement safe systems and controls within your area of responsibility. Understand, implement and align with the Siemens Rolling Stock HSEW and communicate this with your team.Schedule and deliver the production planControl incidents, preserve evidence and investigate until relieved or the investigation is concluded.Actively participate in our improvement programme and drive implementation of improvements from the team

Your success will be grounded by:

Essential:

Leadership/Supervisor experienceGood knowledge of IT systems/softwareExcellent communication skills both written and oral Strong organization/planning skillsGood understanding of Health, Safety and environment requirements

Preferred:

Technical knowledge of Rolling Stock maintenance procedures/practices Engineering ONC or equivalent qualification or experienceBasic understanding of continuous improvement principles Contract/Commercial knowledge
