How a Deputy Program Manager will make an impact:Provides technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned projects or tasks, including contract and subcontractor management.Participates in the development of operational project plans, reports, task orders and administrative reporting.Manages Operations Capability Manager to ensure tasks are tracked and completed.Documents gap analysis, staging, installation, testing within the established schedule, operational and costing parameters in support of the assigned capability.Conducts planning and provides recommendations to client on task workload.Assists the Program Manager in synchronizing requirements throughout the lifecycle of the project within cost, schedule and performance identifying any issues in project meetings.Attends customer meetings and may serve as primary client liaison.Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the contract.Understands DoD and Army Cybersecurity Policies, including DoD Instruction 8500.01, Cybersecurity, Army Regulation (AR) 25-2 Information Assurance and AR 25-1 Army Information Technology.Well-versed in Operations, Change, Knowledge, Configuration, and Access Management in accordance with ITIL standards.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Visio.Responsible for the administrative/operational leadership of a project within the program guidelines set by the Program Manager and customer.Provides the coordination between resource managers/supervisors and ensures all necessary reviews and approvals are received.Tracks implementation of Patches and Upgrades to the current environment through the release management process.Ensures the GEF environment is compliant with required scans and STIGs and documentation is submitted to IA to maintain in the eMASS package.Participates in special projects as required.
What you’ll need to succeed (Required):Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 10 years’ experience required. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.Active Secret security clearance required.Demonstrated experience and adherence to DoD and Army Cybersecurity Policies, including DoD Instruction 8500.01, Cybersecurity, Army Regulation (AR) 25-2 Information Assurance and AR 25-1 Army Information Technology.Well-versed in Operations, Change, Knowledge, Configuration, and Access Management in accordance with ITIL standards.The likely salary range for this position is $102,000 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
