As Deputy Manager - Software Application, you are responsible for leading and executing business (includes revenue responsibility) module for ‘Software Application Solutions’ for All India, Identify opportunities for value added solutions with Videojet Core Products, Take ownership for technical support on projects from the initial enquiry phase to final sign-off, Technical support for Presales activity with sales team for wining application sales requirement
This role will be based in Mumbai with significant travel requirement to client locations .
The essential requirements of the job include
Good knowledge and hands-on experience on ‘Industrial Automation, Project Management, System Integration’System conceptualization, process analyzing, troubleshooting skills Effective communication skill for convincing customers in executing the application.Prepare Presentations, techno-commercial offer, simple general arrangement/layout drawings, list out BOM for custom specific accessories and prepare budgetary costingAs technical lead, discuss, propose, define final engineered technical system solution with the customer including writing techno-commercial offerOn Order receipt, execute the proposed solution based on defined contractual specification.Make sure the project is delivered in accordance to specification, on time and within budget.Cross functional interaction with technical, vendor development & purchasing department to convert customer requirement specification into an actionable BOMCustomer interaction (understanding VOC of customer, making right bundled VJ solutions for customer). Approx. 60 – 70% time is customer facingRegular coordination with Internal (procurement, logistics, Sales coordinator, sales & marketing, finance, product team) and External (Customers and Vendors) agenciesInteract with Line-Managers for Daily Business Update, participate in weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual meetings with higher managementRich field experience in an Indian or a multi-national company as a Project manager, BDM in software application projects, preferred ERP/SAP, Web, cloud applications development and executionKEY COMPETENCIES

Proven Experience in Project Planning and Development: The ideal candidate should have a track record of success in project planning, development, and installation, preferably within the marking and coding industry or a related field. Experience in system conceptualization to commercialization, is highly desirable.Strong Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing the required logic/process to drive effective and optimized resultEffective Cross-functional Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset, enabling them to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and global counterparts. Technical Knowledge to understand the Process Automation.
